'British Steel' was Judas Priest's sixth studio album, released on April 14th, 1980. It was recorded at Ringo Starr's Startling Studios/Tittenhurst Park during January and February 1980 and was sold in the UK at a special discount price of £ 3.99.
It reached #4 in the British Album Charts and peaked at #34 in the Billboard Pop Album Charts.
Including various re-releases it sold more than 1.000.000 copies in the US, thereby reaching Platinum status.
This is a 2017 vinyl re-release of the original 1980 recording.
